A BEGINNERS INTRO: FUSION 360 CAD TRAINING

In collaboration with Autodesk, Girl Gang Garage brings you an exciting new class focused on Fusion 360 CAD training, 3D Printing, and much more.
Fusion 360 is a robust design and CAD software that will enable you to design 3D parts that can support your ideas, dreams, and goals. Have no fear. This class is developed with a beginner in mind and will provide a comprehensive dive into Fusion 360 and leave you inspired and empowered to create.
The Autodesk team will cover the following in this three-day event:
• Define what CAD is
• 3D Modelling and what is possible
• Real world applications like modeling a Girl Gang Garage part for usage in a All-Female Build
• 3D Printing from Models
May 18-20th, Wednesday-Friday
9 am – 3:30 pm
Using a personal laptop is strongly encouraged for this class. However, a few loaner laptop devices will be available to those who reserve in advance.
To prepare for this training, we will ask you to download Fusion 360 ahead of time. Upon registration, we will reach out with download instructions and support, so you are ready to get started on this exciting journey with us.
Minimum Computer Specifications:
You will need to bring a computer with the minimum computer specifications to run Fusion 360(included in the chart below). Please notify Girl Gang Garage if your computer does not meet the specs and we are happy to provide a loaner computer for the training.

Apple: macOS 10.14 Mojave or better
Microsoft Windows: Windows 8.1 or better
Memory:
At least 4 GB of RAM
Disk Space:
3 GB of Storage
Class Size: Class size is limited to 10 people.
